Chalet Nicklaus is located in the
exclusive, prestigious Nicklaus North Estates on the 1st hole of the
golf course. You will enjoy the view of the golfers teeing off the
first hole and seeing the golfers putting on the greens. And in the
winter you can watch the skiers as they glide pass.
For your added comfort at Chalet
Nicklaus we provide keyless entry for your convenience, 3 TV’s with 2
VCR’s with 50 videos, CD player with 25 CD’s, a small book library,
hair dryers in each bathroom, propane BBQ on the deck, patio seating
and an outdoor private hot tub.
The clubhouse restaurant and bar - The Den Bar and Grill - is located within a 2-minute walk. Or the
Edgewater Lodge restaurant is a wonderful 10-minute walk away via the
Valley trail system.
The Valley Trail system is located in
our back yard. The trails are great for walking, biking, hiking and
roller-blading in the summer or the trails are track set for
cross-country or skating skiing in the winter.
Lost Lake, the perfect swimming lake
or Rainbow Beach are both about a 20-minute walk away or a 10 bike
ride. Or you can continue along the trails and arrive in the Village.
Green Lake, the place to be for fishing or water-skiing or
wakeboarding is a 5-minute walk.
Meadow Park Sports Centre is located
across the street. There has a swimming pool with great kid's section,
skating rink, gym, squash courts and aerobics, step and spin classes.
The Village is a 5-minute drive or the bus runs every 15 minutes or we
can arrange for taxi vouchers.
Whistler Village has a huge range
of activities to choose from. From bike rentals and tours, ATV tours,
rafting, canoe and kayak trips, climbing walls, trapeze, trampolines,
zip trekking, hiking or walking, enjoying some of the
great street entertainment in the summer to snowmobiling, dog
sledding, heli-skiing, sleigh rides in the winter. Of course a trip to
the top of the mountains via the Gondola or chairlift is a ‘must do’
event in the summer or in the winter regardless if you are a skier.
The views are spectacular and the Alpine restaurants are worth the
trip.
